Pastor Wenzel Rev. Mark A. Wenzel was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 31, 1970. He grew up in rural Horicon, Wisconsin, attending St. John’s Lutheran School in Mayville, WI and then Mayville High School, graduating in 1988. He attended Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN for one year before transferring to Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, where he graduated in 1992 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Pastoral Ministry. He attended Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, graduating with a Master of Divinity degree in 1996. He served his vicarage (internship) at Grace Lutheran Church in DeWitt, Iowa in 1994-1995. On July 10, 1993, Pastor Mark married Janelle Peterson of West Bend, Wisconsin. Janelle graduated in 1992 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Elementary education and Early Childhood. She currently is the preschool teacher/director at Trinity Little Lambs preschool. There marriage has been blessed with 3 children: Kaitlyn, Aaron, and Makayla. |
